A barking dog as neighbour and a cold pool did not make it worth the amount of money to stay. It's not better than any other cheaper hotel. Mostly because of barking dogs as neighbours

AVOID. We have only been here one day and have three days left. We booked this hotel through booking.com for my friends birthday celebrations and booked two rooms. Online the hotel is advertised as ‘beach front’. It is also advertised as having a spa/lounge relaxation area, spa facilities and an open air bath. There is also a claim for a concierge service. Our customer experience from when we arrived has been really bad. We were asking for two rooms next to each other. The manager was sitting at the front desk and we were trying to explain that we messaged via various methods. We were ignored on WhatsApp and on booking.com message service just told ‘nothing can be guaranteed’. The manager did not want to address us directly and instead (even though she was sitting right there) continued to whisper to her employee to come back and relay messages to us whilst not even making eye contact. I find this really poor customer service irrespective and honestly quite rude. We sorted it out in the end by paying to upgrade to rooms that were near each other. We were not explained to any facilities of the building or the area or how to do anything other than being told ‘what slot would you like for breakfast’. So if the facilities I mentioned at the start exist we do not know about these - only about the ‘paid spa facilities’. The pool area is very small given the number of rooms in the hotel (over four floors of hotel rooms and at least 20 rooms on each floor - but a pool that can comfortably fit about 8 people before it starts to get crowded enough that you bump into each other). I understand we booked rooms (through a very confusing booking system) of different levels BUT at the end of the day, the hotel fell short on: Communication - rude manager who ignored us and did not want to communicate and was generally not polite. She did not say hello, did not introduce herself by name, did not apologise for us being ignored via the messages we sent on WhatsApp, did not offer any kind of customer service Customer service - as mentioned above and also none of the staff say good morning, are friendly or offer any help. Even for beach towels it was just a blanket ‘we don’t do those’ even though you can see other guests taking the towels on the beach and then leaving them outside their room. Explaining amenities and the area - a fundamental part of the hotel experience If you have any needs or requests I honestly do not recommend this hotel. Having said all this the young lady with curly hair and glasses that actually checked us in was the only friendly and nice person in the hotel. Edit: the hotel management continues to ignore the biggest part of this review which is the customer experience. The rooms in themselves were not the issue, it was the attitudes, behaviours and general communication of the staff and management - including basics such as polite communication, acknowledging your customers directly and saying good morning when working on a front desk

The room door is not isolated properly and you can hear all the noise from the hallway. We reported this issue but Hotel service said it is the first time someone reported that (not true speaking with other people from the hotel)
