If you are looking for a perfect, clean and beautiful place to stay in winter (like we did) or in summer (sure same good), this is the place. We rented 3 houses for 13 people and 3 kids in Dec-Jan during New's Year eve. We were ice fishing, going to sauna every day and having great time going for a walk on the lake. Houses are clean, equipped with everything you might need during your stay. A supermarket is 10 minutes car drive away from the house.

I originally thought I had been to the Pure Land, but who knew there was a paradise outside the world? This is the most peaceful and luxurious lakeside cabin I have ever lived in. It has a simple Nordic design, is clean and comfortable, and has all modern equipment under the simple appearance. There is also a warm marble stove in the hall, which is not a decoration. The owner has prepared a lot of wood for you to use at will. It is fun to light a fire to keep warm. The most surprising thing is that we also have a private sauna in the house. Last night, my wife and I stayed in bed until midnight! Outside the house is a large lawn and lake view that temporarily belongs to us. There is a private dock and boat, and a dedicated BBQ cabin. The steak is cooked with firewood chopped from the forest behind the house. It really smells like pine trees. Of course, the firewood was chopped by the owner of the house. I only need to go to the woodshed to get it. This is the first time I have met such a considerate owner.

Real site pass! We spent a week in spring, with the lake still frozen, enjoying walks and spectacular sunsets, watching the locals ice fishing and enjoying the barbecues by the lake and the sauna. Cabins with a great feeling of privacy and super equipped (we wanted to stay and live). By car, we have moved through the Salamajärvi National Park and skied at Tahko Mountain.
