Marlborough Arms

What a gem! 2 night stay and it felt like home from home. Parts of the building are 500 hundred years old and history seeps from its bones. Wonderful seating areas downstairs and a little courtyard outside, lovely clean rooms with the most comfortable beds ever and bright airy breakfast room with lovely food. The location was superb for getting into Oxford with easy access to bus routes and the park and ride. And if that wasn't enough, the staff are just wonderful. Everyone was helpful, considerate and went out of their way to make sure we had a fantastic stay...and we did! Thank you everyone x

We recently stayed four nights in this delightful quaint 15th Century Coaching Inn in the heart of Woodstock. The welcome on arrival was so friendly, and check in was very prompt. Every member of staff was fantastic and made our stay extra special. Loved that the hotel has retained its old world character, but has all the modern day amenities in place. Our room off the courtyard was beautiful, spacious and relaxing. The breakfast service is flawless and caters for all tastes; fresh and made to order~ choice of the full English breakfast, and smashed avocado with a poached egg on granary toast, as well as anything from our continental self~service breakfast bar including dishes such as fresh fruit salad, freshly cooked pastries, cold meat and cheese, yogurt and cereal. The coaching inn is in the middle of the town and is easy walking distance of Blenheim Palace. We loved everything about this cozy historic Marlborough Arms; the owners looked after us like we were family. Would certainly stay again and highly recommend!! We've just returned home after another wonderful stay at this really amazing hotel, the rooms are great well equipped and clean. But the staff are the best, so helpful and friendly they make you feel so welcome. I'd better mention the breakfast because again it's so good 👍👍👍 Thank you all for making our annual family reunion such a memorable event.
