Marlin Hotel Stephens Green

Rooms cozy but you should not be in your room when on holiday! King beds were plenty comfortable; when we arrived off a red-eye paying the extra to check in early was clutch... book in advance if you want this opportunity for modest price.

We got an early check in which was perfect to recover from the flight. The room was small but well designed. We would have like more hanging space for our clothes but we made it work. The coffee kiosk in the lobby was delightful and we really appreciated the gym downstairs. A great addition would be an exercise ball and some mats for floor work. All in all we had a nice stay.

Rooms are fine; housekeeping less so. In 6 nights, the bed was made only once, on several days the bathroom didn't get cleaned at all, coffee/tea/water were never consistently restocked. Used glasses and coffee mugs were never cleaned or replaced even once until the end of my stay. It felt as if I was staying in an apartment-hotel where these things don't get done daily, except that isn't what this hotel is supposed to be, or what I'd booked.
