We loved this hotel. It was local to the centre via a tram..then we used the site seeing tour bus. Breakfast was provided..not enough savoury options for us..and we didnt eat the 2nd day. Staff were friendly and always on site. Rooms were clean..little niggles here and there but bedding was good. Towels need upgrading..they were see through but dried quickly. Id stay again

Aug 25 trip, posted for balance: we stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The good bits are an excellent central location for the river, station, and tourist attractions; great VFM; friendly and helpful staff; pleasant if functional rooms taking the cost into account; decent facilities in terms of the breakfast buffet and a bar. Yes, mirroring earlier reviews the breakfast could be improved, the towels could be better, and the rooms refreshed - but then you could stay at the Intercontinental for much more money! As long as you take it for what it is - an adequate 3* with good location and facilities- you should be fine and happy

Considering the price and the quality of the accommodation, I definitely would not recommend this hotel. The location is okay. As for the reception staff, I have no complaints — they are very kind and friendly. However, I have major complaints about the room’s cleanliness. In the bathroom, we found a completely broken toilet seat, mold on the shower door, and some cracked tiles. The bed linen had ink stains, so it’s questionable whether it was even washed. Under the bed, there was a pile of dust. Starting from 6 a.m., we could hear loud scraping of chairs from the restaurant, which our room window faced. The noise was so loud, and the sound insulation so poor, that it was impossible to sleep. The minibar was empty, even though there was a price list for minibar drinks. All in all, due to the terrible hygiene and maintenance, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone — especially considering we paid €109 per night without breakfast or parking.
