I really enjoyed my 2 days here and stayed another night as I was very happy with my amazing room which smelt so nice with beautiful difusers and calming vibes. I swopped rooms and the 2nd was just as nice. I arrived at 1.30am from the airport and was greeted nicely with tea by a kind man. The taxi fare is a standard 330 dirhams from the airport at night, which I hadnt factored in but the driver gave me his number and I paid 250 to get back to town for the bus station. It's a Retreat, as is in the name, quiet and far from the centre so you would really stay in Marrakech itself either before or after. The breakfast was wonderful and other food I ate here was up to a high standard, plentiful and the same price as the restaurants around the square so I didn't feel like I was being ripped off like other people mentioned in early reviews. I hope this little place does well. I liked lying around the pool, chilling in the room and walking around the grounds to rest, lots of birds and the roof terrace had great views of the mountains. I paid £50 a night with Expedia and I've paid a lot more in the past to stay in similar places. The pool was a little cold for my liking but I often find this and in February the weather was warm rather than hot so maybe in summer its necessary. I was happy to be here alone but romantic too x

It is truly a retreat. Once your there you can relax and be looked after by the staff who make you feel very welcome. The grounds are well cared for and you can wander about looking at the large variety of plants or spend your time at the pool. There are tables and chairs arranged in various places. My daughter had her 18th birthday here and the staff made it a night to remember. Cleanliness is of a high standard both in the accommodation and gardens. Alcohol is provided but don't expect a wide range. Food in general was ok. My only negative comment is the road to the Retreat is terrible with directions that are only useful during the day. At night we could not see the landmarks. If your taking a taxi then this is not a problem

The room was amazing, pool and facilities are great in a very relaxing place. Not easy to find. Can't imagine trying to get there during the night, driving 2 kms of dirt road. When we got there, the manager showed us the food menu (price for two dishes 120 dirham crossed, so no updated) and told us that we could have dinner later. When we got to our room, there's a sign warning us that they charge a "Corkage fee" if we have drinks (even for water 3€) brought from other place...When you are far away from any other place...Never seen in a hotel... So, we relax and chill in the pool which was great. At 8:30pm we went to the hall and told the guy in charge that we were ready for dinner and he said that was not possible because the lady who cooks was gone. Thank God we had some snacks and we ate something because at that time, it was already dark and we didn't want to go somewhere else when we were so far away from any restaurant. Next morning we had to leave Marrakech and we wanted to stay till noon (Booking check out time) and we talked with the guy to let him know and he said that TODAY check out time was 11am but we refused to leave earlier. All in all, a great place to relax but not a proper service for a hotel.
