Marriott at the University of Dayton

What a great hotel near the University of Dayton campus. My husband wanted to show me his alma mater (50 years later!) Upon entering the Marriott, we were greeted by friendly staff. The front desk clerk (I think her name was Sandra) was very nice. After hearing we were visiting after my husband graduated 50 years ago, she upgraded us to a parlor, which was a very nice touch. everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, the grounds were nice & it was close enough to the college without being on any mail road. It was very quiet there. Thank you to everyone who made this a lovely visit!

This hotel shows it age, but the location and staff make it a solid choice in the area. The carpet, elevators, and air-conditioning show the age of this hotel. The rooms have been refurbished and the bathrooms are decent. The hotel restaurant is large and clean, but service is generally very slow. The executive lounge has great food and service if you can uses status to gain access to that feature. The hotel is in a good location to the university and the Dayton area.

Marriott was a great stay rooms so nice bathroom clean. dining was great. I would love to stay again. It's just that if you want to dine out, you have to go maybe 15 minutes away. Plus, there is no microwave in rooms. We needed one.
