Marriott Columbus Northwest

We had a great experience here meeting for a church conference event. The staff were friendly and very accommodating with our room service and even went out of their way to give us a late check-out so that we could get our kiddos some nap time. The one young lady at the front desk, Asia, was super helpful and kind. I hope to stay here again in the future!

The Marriott Columbus Northwest is a fantastic place for a business conference. The banquet chairs were comfortable. We had a continuous flow of coffee and water for our 3 hour meeting. The sound system was adequate even without a sound engineer. Convenient location off I270.

Rooms were clean, which is my number one priority. The suite had 2 full bathrooms, which is lovely! The staff that handles the room blocks/events is less than professional. Emails and calls go unanswered or take over a week for a response. When you are planning a wedding or other event, this is problematic and quite irritating. Also, we had welcome bags for our guests. There were far too many left over, which means all guests did not receive a welcome bag. When we asked for the extras, the desk staff said, “Oh, you want to take them?” That’s an odd question. It felt like she expected me to donate them to the staff. Weird. Overall, it is a nice hotel, considering the dead mall across the street, but don’t expect communication to meet expectations.
