Marriott Indianapolis North

I’m at the Marriott North weekly and have been for almost a year, and the service is always top notch. Nick at the front desk is phenomenal. He goes above and beyond every single time and greets me with genuine friendliness. Lauren in the concierge lounge is a pleasure to be around and always takes extra effort to make sure I have everything I need. They are extremely accommodating, even when I’m a little higher maintenance and need special arrangements for meals I bring. They make me feel at home and are a big reason I keep coming back.

The staff at this hotel were all very kind and accommodating. We asked to change rooms after finding our first room was not clean. They allowed the change without hesitation. The second room was better but the sheets had obvious stains on them. We didn't say anything because we didn't want to pile on. This hotel is in a great location full of amenities, close to the interstate, and is in a safe area. However, the entire hotel needs a deep cleaning in the worst way. The floor of the lobby, the elevators, and the room/bathroom were dirty. The bathroom floor looked as though it had never seen a mop. The baseboards were caked in dust and there was hair on the floor. These are basic things that any housekeeping personnel should be trained to notice and take care of. And when are hotel interior designers going to pivot away from barn doors on bathrooms? They don't fully close and don't give a modicum of privacy. The bathroom barn doors at this hotel are made of frosted glass which had not been cleaned in a long time. It had obvious smudges and smears of indeterminate origin near the pull. These would be impossible to miss if the room were being thoroughly cleaned after each guest. This hotel is listed as a 4 star hotel but that is simply not accurate.

My daughter left her toiletries bag in the bathroom and we called immediately to report it. The housekeeping never responded even after multiple attempts at emails and calls. We were very disappointed in their service and the fact that our bag was taken.
