From the moment I arrived, Agent Sunshine made my check-in experience smooth, warm, and welcoming. She greeted me with a genuine smile and positive energy that instantly made me feel at ease after a long journey. She was knowledgeable, efficient, and answered all of my questions with patience and professionalism. Not only did she ensure I had everything I needed, but she also offered thoughtful recommendations and made sure I was comfortable with the room selection. The room itself was clean, cozy, and well-prepared—exactly as described. I appreciated the attention to detail, from the fresh linens to the well-stocked amenities. Thanks to Agent Sunshine, my stay got off to the perfect start. Her service is truly a reflection of what great hospitality looks like. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Customer Service at Marriott Jacksonville What truly stood out during our stay was the outstanding customer service — hands down the best part of the experience. Every staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Special mentions to Sunshine, Tequila at the front desk, and Bryan at the restaurant Our room was clean and comfortable, exactly what we needed. Stepping outside, the Florida humidity was intense, even for locals — just something to keep in mind! We dined at the on-site restaurant twice because it was that good. Highly recommend the Red Snapper — fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Marriott Jacksonville, for a memorable and well-hosted visit!
We have stayed at many Marriott’s around the country and I will say — this was the worst. A door down from our room, we noticed this note left for a guest on top of the trash they’d left outside the hotel room. The staff took the time to write this note and not pick up the trash. I have never witnessed something like this in hospitality, coming from someone who managed hotels. So off putting to these guests and guests like ourselves. Even if you have gold membership,, you will still be purchasing water bottles for your room. Toilets don’t flush(or take forever to). We were given late checkout for 2pm yet were abruptly woken up around 10:40 by housekeeping walking into our room. Parking is $40 if you stay here — just go across the street and pay for street parking, it was free. I wish I had better things to say, truly. I understand how badly negative reviews impact a business but this Marriott needs to get their things in order. The one positive note I’ll leave is that David, part of the Restaraunt bar staff, was exceptional. Handled a full bar with ease, was happy to accommodate and visibly enjoys hospitality.
