Super clean rooms with floor to ceiling windows. Texas shaped pool area was spacious and never felt too crowded. Philip was a wonderful server at the pool. Quesadillas were huge! Chips were not soggy. The lavender drink was really authentic and not "touristy." 100% recommend.

My first time staying at this hotel and I was impressed from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. The rooms are very big, clean, comfortable and quiet. My room was so beautiful and clean and the hotel at large was clean and its smell beautiful. The lobby, the chandelier, the light, the elevator had beautiful pictures of the hotel and different kinds of food pictures to give you and ideas of what to expect. Most impressively, every single staff person I engaged with has been helpful, friendly and kind in a way I've never encountered at another hotel. They were positive when helping me out when I forget my room key in my room.The problems were entirely my own fault but staff never blamed or were grumpy, they just got me a key and I was on my way to my room. I definitely recommend this hotel. I also recommend upgrading to get club access while you're staying. Thanks Marriott Houston I’m differently coming back!!

First I want to hopefully spare someone the horror of the biscuits and gravy. I ordered this because it was at the top of the menu and sounded good. Food was promptly delivered to our room. I took one bite and had to immediately spit it out. I will literally eat just about anything, but I could not eat this. It had the most foul taste I have ever experienced. Now onto the review…we have stayed here several times and it’s always a fun and relaxing experience. The rooms are nice, the staff is very courteous, and the lazy river is super fun. There are also plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance. All in all a pleasant experience.
