Marriott Miami Dadeland

One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in months. This business trip was perfect. Hot weather, a lovely pool on the 7th floor, a classic bar on the ground floor, a handy supermarket 2 minutes walk opposite, a 10 minute walk to the Mall. And of course attentive staff. Location of the Marriott is perfect. The metro station is just behind the building. A 5 minute walk. And only 45 minutes into central Miami. My room was adequate. Had an adjoining door to the next room. I kept a towel under the door as could hear them talking next door. Something to consider when requesting a room. My room was also spacious. Was luck to face the pool, and lovely views of the Everglades National Park on the distance.

Steve at the bar was awesome! Super friendly and made us feel so welcome right away. The drinks he made were *amazing*—easily some of the best we’ve had. He gave great recommendations and really went above and beyond to make sure we were having a good time. Just a genuinely kind guy who knows what he’s doing behind the bar. Definitely ask for Steve if you get the chance

The hotel itself was very nice. The rooms looked nice. The shower did not function very well and needed to be updated. Very little pressure and did not drain. Well there was sand in the bed. Internet was not fast enough to watch TV. The parents sit on the windowsill All night and keep you up. There is no Self parking available at the garage for the hotel. It is all ballet and cost $30 a night.
