Amazing Views from the 21st Floor, but Some Areas Need Improvement We recently stayed at the Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa and booked a Fallsview room on the 21st floor. The experience was memorable, mainly because of the breathtaking views, but there are a few areas where the hotel could improve. The Positives: The location is fantastic—right by Niagara Falls with easy access to all the main attractions and restaurants. The view from our room was absolutely stunning. Watching the falls during the day and seeing them illuminated at night from such a height was unforgettable. The room itself was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The Negatives: The breakfast was overpriced, and the variety was limited compared to other hotels in the same category. Soundproofing in the room was average; even on the 21st floor, we could clearly hear traffic noise from the street below at night. The hotel overall feels a bit dated—the furnishings and bathroom could use some updates to match the premium price point. Overall: If you’re visiting for the iconic view of Niagara Falls, this hotel is hard to beat. I highly recommend booking a Fallsview room for the experience. However, if you value modern facilities and quieter rooms, you may want to manage expectations or request a room on a higher floor.

Realistic Expectations for a Great Location – Needs Serious Refresh As a Lifetime Titanium member, I’ve stayed at countless Marriott properties around the world, and while the Niagara Fallsview location offers one of the most iconic views anywhere, guests should come with realistic expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and we appreciated being upgraded to a 2-queen executive suite — a nice perk for our family of four. The location truly can’t be beat — we had a great time exploring the Falls and nearby attractions. That said, the hotel is quite outdated, and it really shows. Every surface — from elevators to common areas to in-room furniture — could use a deep clean. While our room had some modern touches, the bathroom was disappointing, with mildew on the shower tiles and worn fixtures. The furniture in the room had visible tears, and overall, it felt tired and overdue for a refresh. The pool area and pool bathroom were in especially rough shape and are in need of a major renovation — both in cleanliness and appearance. The Concierge Lounge was by far the smallest and most limited I’ve seen at any Marriott, with minimal food or beverage offerings, and a noticeable, unpleasant smell. It also hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time, which was disappointing given the status level and typical standards for Marriott lounges. Bottom line: If you’re coming for the views and proximity to the Falls, this hotel delivers. But if you’re expecting the polished Marriott experience, especially as an elite member, you may be let down by the condition of the property. There may not be a better-located hotel in the area, but I hope to see some significant updates in the near future.

This is the review I posted in the post-visit survey Marriott sent me via email: The Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa has stunning views of Niagara Falls in its Executive Suites, but the small details (that end up being big indicators of the establishment's ability to deliver its seemingly sterling "commitment to excellence" to patrons) were heavily neglected. When we arrived after staying at the Delta Hotel London Armouries (which is an AWFUL hotel and should be avoided), our room had still WET chewing gum sticking on the side of the bed frame, plainly seen as we walked in. Additionally, there were food crumbs located under all three mattresses (we used the sofa bed as well, which I had specifically asked to be cleaned since it was not used frequently, and it was the filthiest of the three beds). Additionally, we had to call room service for pillows, blankets, and towels because there were not enough in the room when we arrived (again, I had called ahead instructing that there would be three of us and paid the "extra person" fee when I booked the room). The bathroom was lovely, although the sink is prone to splashing water all over. The shower had good water pressure, and the included shampoo, conditioner, and body gel were of average quality. I will say that the Housekeeping and Room Service staff were top notch in their responsiveness and cordial demeanors. The same cannot be said for the front desk who, when I approached them to complain about the gum being stuck to the bed frame and the food under the beds (showing them clear photographs on my cell phone), they just shrugged and did not even offer to have Housekeeping come up to clean (I had to call myself). Also, please be aware that the parking situation is a bit inconvenient. There is a nice lot around the corner of the Turtle Jack's restaurant (across the street from the hotel), owned by ANOTHER Marriott, but you are allowed to park there regardless (with a pass you can get from the valets). The signage is poor, and it is about a 5-7 minute walk from the parking lot to the front of the hotel, which can be a bit difficult if you have young children/family members with mobility issues. Finally, the breakfast buffet in the cafe ($34.95 CA per person) was delicious and had a LOT of options for different diets (including an omelette bar!), but the quality of the food was inconsistent across multiple days. Also, the water station in the lobby was never filled, which was difficult in the hot weather. We appreciate the staff's work, but most seem disinterested to assist.
