Marriott Phoenix Resort Tempe at The Buttes

This was a fantastic experience. I went with my two young boys for only 3 days and we had a blast. The pool is amazing. The only complaint is there isn't enough staff to keep the water slide open. There's hiking trails around which provide for free adventure. Hole in the rock and Botanical Gardens are within 10 minutes. Both amazing adventures. We visited downtown Tempe which was beautiful and were able to do a little shopping. The service was great. Food was good too, although over priced. I spent $40 on one sandwich and 3 iced teas. Besides that, no other complains.

This resort is great, for what it is. The rooms are remodeled, so it’s clean and comfortable. The grounds are compact, but impressive, being built into the hillside. Expansive double connected pools. It’s one of those places you’ll remember visiting. Maybe not the most luxurious locale, but one you’ll create great memories at. If you’re in Phoenix and want a convenient resort close to the airport, it’s an amazing spot. My family had a wonderful stay.

My boyfriend booked this place for us for one night. It was a quick get away. We left so satisfied. They made great frozen drinks and their pool was liquid therapy. The views were gorgeous and the brunch was delicious. we will be back.
