Marriott Savannah Riverfront

This is a very nice and clean hotel. I was here for a conference and they made us feel very important and did their best to meet our needs. Every employee speaks to you and the Bistro Blue wow it's delicious. There is a waitress there I would say she's the best!! The only thing we didn't like and I'm not trying to offend is the smokers. Trying to sit outside at the river and watch the boats and ships is hard when your eyes are watering from all the cigarettes. Other than that one thing we will be back. Thank you Marriott for the hospitality.

Absolutely beautiful place with friendly service from everyone we met. We had a huge suite overlooking the river and an indoor balcony over the bar/lounge area. I wish the air conditioning would have been better in our room. It ran fine but it's hard to cool an entire suite with only 1 vent on the far side of the room. I'm one of those people that can't sleep in still air. I have to have a fan or feel the ac on my face at least. I would totally stay in this room again. I would just bring a fan.

Husband and I stayed 2 nights to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. The original room that was assigned, the toilet would not flush. Maintenance came after 2 calls. We were assigned to another room. The first room also smelled moldy. The second room smelled fresher and was clean. However, I called front desk after leaving a nice blue dress hanging up in the closet from the previous room assigned. Front desk staff SAID they would look. And finally said there was no blue dress left in the room. Before we transferred to the second room the Housekeeper knew we were leaving g to go to another room because I told her about the toilet and she was about to clean the room. She had to have seen the dress. Our experience at Marriott was not a good one. Overall the breakfast buffet was good even though it had to be paid for being the weekend. Will not be returning if in the area of Savannah .
