We loved our stay here at the Marriott Downtown Tacoma. The hotel staff were wonderful and even greeted us as we were walking by in the hallways. We had our 3 years old with us and they always greeted her with a special hello or complimented her it was so sweet. The room was very clean and modern. The only complaint I would have is the lack of a coffee maker in the room but they do have complimentary coffee a short elevator ride away in the main lobby. The pool and jacuzzi were fantastic and very clean with plenty of towels for everyone. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a great place to stay in Tacoma!

Staff provided excellent service and I enjoyed using the fitness center. The room was clean and spacious. Please bring back the coffee maker for the rooms...I need my caffeine fix as soon as I wake up and right before I hit the gym.

I suppose you could call this a “full service” Marriott. Not awesome. The good. It is relatively clean, and relatively new. Decent rates, location is great. The bad. Rooms have ZERO amenities that even a Motel 6 would normally. No room coffee, no courtesy soap outside of a paper-thin Dial bar. The “Elite Lounge” has Diet Pepsi and granola bars. And then the lobby bar is insanely understocked. The ugly. Parking. You can, evidently, park in the garage on floors 2, 3 and 6. It states this on the parking pass. You’re charged something like $35.00. The receptionist that checked me in didn’t verbally advise me of where I could park. So, I slap the parking permit on my dash and ended up parking on floors 4. Came out this morning to a ticket. Place is awful. And I resent it. Find somewhere else. Truly.
