We stayed at the Marriott Vacation Club in San Francisco for 4 days in March and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect, right by Fisherman’s Wharf, which was pleasantly calm and not too crowded during that time of year. It made exploring the area really enjoyable, with easy access to the waterfront, restaurants, and cable cars. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. One of our favorite little details: the flavored water dispensers in the hallway (I believe the brand was Bevi) a refreshing treat after a day out exploring! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and everything felt well-maintained. If you're planning to drive, just keep in mind that valet parking is $75 per night. Overall, a very smooth and pleasant stay. We'd definitely return!

Well located in Fishermans wharf. Hotel is up to date Great tasting fruit infused water in lobby. Great water refill stations throughout hotel. Nice work out room is a bit above average includes a stair stepper Beds were comfortable. Really nice game room and courtyard. Great for our family off 8 Pastries and fun sparkling juices available at times too. Staff is very helpful. Felt safe.

We have loved this place for its location and unique vibe. Our most recent trip has been disappointing. We waited until past 4 for our room, and upon finally getting in, we were greeted by totally new and utterly boring decor. We loved the industrial city vibe with the unusual lighting and San Francisco artwork. Now it feels just like every other corporate chain hotel...white, off white, light grey, tan, more light grey, grey green, non-descript art that could easily have been AI generated. Sad and dull. They removed the beautiful, adjustable shutters that allowed for privacy and replaced them with standard shades that are either open for the goldfish bowl effect or closed for no view at all. For rooms facing other rooms across the courtyard or across the street, the blinds were perfect. the courtyard was in disarray due to construction, which we weren't told about ahead of time. It has lost its charm. Not sure we'll use our points here again as there are plenty of other good deals to be had in the city. Boo. Marriott Vacation Club struck out with this remodel.
