Marriott's Frenchman's Cove

Only 15-20 min drive from the airport, it is easy to get to and you go by the main city center Charlotte Amalie. Be prepared to drive on the left side of the road, but drivers side in the car is on the left like the U.S. Beautiful views from the rooms here with a nice pool area. Beach is smaller but very nice and you can snorkel off the beach. It is on a hillside so a lot of elevator access getting up and down the resort. Convenient location to get to the Red Hook area where you pick up the ferries to go to St. Johns. Highly recommend hitting some of the incredible beaches over there!

We stayed at this hotel 7/5/25-7/8/25. We had the best experience. The staff is very accommodating, very helpful, and everyone was so nice. This was our first trip to St. Thomas and the staff made our stay so much easier. It definitely will not be our last time to visit. The room was spacious and clean. On the day the room was cleaned everything was restocked from the washing powder to the beach towels. The pool area is beautiful, with direct beach access. There is only one restaurant on the grounds, but the food was good. (We ate there three times). You can take the complementary shuttle between the other two sister hotels next door and patronize the other restaurants. Thank you Marriott staff for helping to make our stay memorable. This is a very nice property. We stayed in a time-share suite, and the amenities were plentiful, the rooms were comfortable and well appointed, the kitchen was completely outfitted, the bathrooms were spacious, and the balcony views were (both) glorious. You can go snorkeling in the reefs right off the beach, and there are many nautical activities available. Charlotte-Amelie is only 10 minutes away by taxi (ask for Bionic or Ernesto), and you can also walk to the beautiful Wyndham Hotel right next door. Excellent and well-maintained property.
