Martur Resort

We were on holiday in Italy and visited Martur Resort in Italy. It is a private beach so not overcrowded at all, you can hire pedalos and they have various activitys. Staff were really helpful; restaurant was great. Would recommend a stay.

We checked in here June 4th which is the off season. I like the fact that it is quiet. The first room we were given was very hot. They do not have air conditioning on yet so they were very accommodating and switched us to the seaside where we could open a door and get a breeze. This was much better! Thank goodness. We went to the hotel’s restaurant for dinner. The server was able to speak English and even wrote the menu in English for us. Very nice. The food was wonderful. It was nice to have a bottle of wine, great meal and retire to the room. The only disappointment is the pool is not open yet. The hotel has its own beach so I went in the sea. What beautiful clean water. Felt so good. Glad I could do that. Wish the pool had been opened. Beacause of the off season, we were able to have a late checkout because my husband had a meeting in Termoli to attend to. I stayed back and enjoyed the sea and our nice porch.

The service unfortunately is not the least acceptable: For dinner we started at 9, the 2 appetizers lasted until 11, the dinner pasta dishes were served at insanely late, and the main course was served at 1:30. I refused to eat dessert--who knows what time it would arrive. Good structure, location near the sea.
