Marufukuro

This was truly an incredible stay and we felt so lucky to be able to experience the original Nintendo headquarters. Our room with original features was great as were the lounges, staff and breakfast. We also had a tour on our first morning I didn’t catch the staff members name apologies but he was very gracious taking the time to show us around and giving us the history of the building and interiors. We would definitely stay again next time we are in Kyoto. Thank you Nicola & Jason

I had an incredible stay at Hotel Marufukuro in Kyoto. This boutique luxury hotel is situated in the historic former headquarters of Nintendo, which adds a unique and captivating atmosphere. The blend of Nintendo's rich history with a modern, upscale ambiance creates an unforgettable experience, especially for fans of the brand. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making me feel very welcome. The hotel's location is excellent, and the rooms are beautifully appointed and comfortable. I highly recommend Hotel Marufukuro for anyone looking for a special and memorable stay in Kyoto!

We had a wonderful stay at the Marufukuro. Most notable are the young people who work at the reception desk and throughout the hotel. They were amazing! They do it all, with kindness and humility. In addition, our room was large and comfortable. (We were warned ahead of time there was no lift.) And the breakfast, the bar, and the library were all impressive. We enjoyed them all. Would stay there again without hesitation!
