As a fairly regular return customer, I'm very impressed that Linda (owner) now knows my usual dinner order from memory! Rooms are always clean and tidy, and really comfortable beds. Room service is delivered right on 6 o'clock, and the young bloke (sorry, don't know his name) who brings it to the door is extremely well mannered and polite. It really is a pleasure to stay here. Have yet to try out the pool, but it looks very inviting.......
What a wonderful place to stop off on our travels! Room was clean and big bed so comfortable, everything within a short driving distance, friendly reception lady suggested a great pub to eat, we had 1 car and campervan and ample parking, perfect thank you!!
We stayed here to visit the gympie show. I was aware of the no children under 12 rule as I saw it on the website prior to booking. When I phoned, I was asked to confirm the kids ages and all was well. I found the owner very pleasant and had a good old chat upon check in. I did not find her rude like some other reviews state. Our room was very clean and surprised to find it re-made when we returned at the end of our second day with all fresh towels which was much appreciated. I can understand why they don't allow younger children. As contractors ourselves, we stay in alot of motels and they can be so noisy so I can appreciate this and completely understand. We would definitely return if we needed accommodation here again.
