The 1 star review of R.C. is inappropriate. Booking stated clearly that pets were only allowed with the explicit approval by Mas del Salin. Instead, they brought along their dog without having asked the owner for approval beforehand. They booked a room without actually staying overnight. This is called a "no show" (no presentado) and was legitimately marked as such. Usually guesthouses charge a cancellation fee for such late cancellations. I consider these allegations outrageous and unfair. I stayed at Mas del Salin many times. Judit and Ramon are very obliging, friendly, welcoming hosts. The comfort the house provides is amazing considering the fact that it is neither connected to any power grid nor public water supply. The rooms are pretty, nicely furnished and clean. I appreciate and enjoy the peace and quiet of this place, the spectacular view, the marvelous sunsets, the tasty meals and the hiking trails starting right from Mas del Salin. Judit and Ramon invested quite a bit in the repair of the unpaved access road so that access by car is now relatively easy. I am looking forward to my next stay!
Very authentic ecological casa rural built by the owners' own hands.
La casa és espectacular i molt acollidora, perfecta per passar un cap de setmana amb amics. Els propietaris molt amables i propers. Vam estar molt a gust!
