We had the privilege of staying at Mas des Pampres as a group of three families, including ten children ranging from babies to adolescents—and I can say without hesitation that this place is a dream come true for families and large groups. Every single detail has been thought through with elegant care, making it not just welcoming for children of all ages, but truly perfect for big groups with many kids. Family-friendly equipment and details From the moment we arrived, it was clear that nothing had been overlooked. The house is just perfectly equipped for children of all ages. For the babies and toddlers:high chairs, cribs, and potties than we could possibly need, changing stations, (not only in the rooms but also in a toilet and changing room downstairs), children’s cutlery, baby baths, steps to reach the sink... all extra little details that make parents’ lives easier. For all children the house offers endless games and toys, books and crafts. The teenagers loved having billiards, table tennis, a basketball hoop, a massive projector screen, and shelves of comic books to dive into. Every age group felt thought of, respected, and catered for. Outdoor paradise The outdoor spaces left us speechless. The play area alone is better than any children's park we have ever been to: karts and bikes of all sizes (all well-maintained and ready to use), a trampoline, pétanque, slides, monkey bars, and even a charming wooden playhouse for the littlest ones, stocked with dolls and a tiny kitchen. The swimming pool area is perfectly designed with its own rest and eating area, plus a bathroom so families don’t have to trek back and forth. There is free space to run, play garden games, and simply enjoy the Provençal air. (There is also an outdoor gym for the grownups) Spaces for connection—and retreat What makes Mas des Pampres exceptional is not just the equipment, but the house itself, and the way the spaces ahave been though through, designed and maintained. There are endless spots to gather and share meals, laugh, and play, but also plenty of corners for quiet rest, reading, or private time. Each family had its own space and privacy, and yet the house made it effortless for us to come together. Multiple indoor living rooms and beautifully designed bedrooms created a rhythm that worked for everyone—children and adults alike. Our kids kept saying they felt like they were living in a palace from a movie or a storybook. And, truthfully, that’s exactly what it felt like for all of us: a dream, carefully and generously crafted for families who want to enjoy every moment together. Mas des Pampres is more than a holiday home—it’s a place where family memories are woven effortlessly, and where children of every age can feel like they’ve stepped into their own paradise.

My family had the wonderful opportunity to spend two delightful weeks this June at Mas des Pampres, a lovely renovated farmhouse steps from the center of town in Cabannes. For a few of us, it was a return visit. We had stayed in 2019, and were amazed by the quality of the location, the town, and our gracious hosts. This time, we expanded not only our stay, but the volume of those joining us. My father-in-law, Joel, had wanted to take his children and their families to Provence, and his sister and her family opted to join in as well. In all, there was a group of 22 of us spread out over the span of two weeks, with 12 people in the house the first week and 15 for the second. When Joel first suggested the trip to my wife and I 18 months ago, we knew exactly where we should stay. Our host, Mireille Taton, was delighted to hear from us, and was happy to reserve the house in our name. For my wife and I, we were never worried about whether this would be "the right place." We knew what we were dealing with. One of our greatest joys at the outset of the trip was people's arrivals. They had seen pictures and heard stories, but still every single person - young and old - was in awe of the quality of the home and its grounds. The house is perfectly outfitted for families of every size and age. The house came fully equipped with high chairs, baby beds, and all sorts of equipment needed for small children. An outdoor recreation area - part of a recent upgrade - includes bikes, go-karts, a gym, suction-cup archery, a full petanque court, trampoline, and more. That is on top of the delightful pool and adjacent pool house that sits in the backyard, but does not dominate the space. Space, after all, is the key to Mas des Pampres. There is always somewhere else to sit, lounge, play, or take a nap outside. The property is beautifully shaded by ancient trees, and lined with cypresses and other well-maintained foliage. Inside, the rooms are almost too numerous to count. The dining room, living area, and entertainment rooms can easily accommodate a crowd without feeling crowded. The bedrooms are plentiful; most of them having their private en suites. And then there's the kitchen. A powerful gas stovetop sits atop a massive oven. Don't want to turn the big one on? That's fine - use the smaller wall oven instead, or the microwave. A massive two-door refrigerator holds an enormous amount of fresh ingredients, while the standalone freezer can fit enough ice and ice cream for even the hottest of summers. A center counter island, complete with its own prep sink, holds drawers that fit every known pot, pan, and dish you can need for prep, cooking, presentation, and storage. Everything you can think of has been considered. A separate tea center in the kitchen adds additional storage for placemats, napkins, other paper goods and dishes for kids. In the living room, a magnificent hutch and drawers hold multiple sets of dining service for as many people as can fit in the house. Adjacent to that area is a wet bar, where coffee and cocktails can be prepared every morning and evening. There is not a single need that has not been addressed. From a variety of Provencal linens, to vases and candles to brighten up and beautify your living space, it's just simply all there. Mireille and her husband live in a connected home, but you wouldn't ever know they are there. The homes are so perfectly divided, and with the lengthy driveway and enclosed walls, you may not think you have any neighbors at all. But everything else you could want is actually just a short walk down the street. There are several boulangeries, food shops, restaurants and more all within a couple of blocks, with an enormous Inter-Marche right down the road. We were very impressed in our first stay in 2019. Our 2025 stay was even better. Tweens, teens, young adults and some of us older folks all felt right at home in this beautiful spot. We will return again, but in the meantime, we ask that you consider Mas des Pampres as the perfect place for your next family vacation. It cannot be outdone.

As a family of 12 - 6 adults and six children - we wanted a home for our holiday in Provence and Le Mas de Pampres was a wonderful find. Walking through its tree shaded path on our arrival we were instantly transported with a joyful and relaxed feeling and this continued as we went through the freshly cleaned house with baskets of fruit and wine on kitchen bench. Host Mireille and husband Pierre greeted us with warmth and were quick to respond whenever we needed help. The house is so well equipped that it made our stay completely hassle free. There were all sorts of games, bikes, toys, large TV screen and a pool that kept the children happy and entertained. If you are after a relaxed and most enjoyable family (or group of people) holiday look no further than the marvellous Mas de Pampres
