Mas Salagros Ecoresort & Aire Ancient Baths

While "five-star hotel" can mean a wide range of things, I’d place this one on the more modest end of that spectrum—but absolutely still worth visiting. The overall experience was wonderful, and we even ended up extending our original three-night stay because we were enjoying it so much. The hotel itself is in a stunning location, surrounded by beautiful nature and plenty of scenic hiking paths. My partner and I had visited the restaurant and spa before, but this was our first time actually staying at the hotel. The property is gorgeous, and our room had an incredible view along with a spacious private garden that made the stay feel extra special. The staff were consistently friendly and polite, which really added to the relaxing atmosphere. Now, the highlight for us: the food. I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had—fresh, high-quality ingredients that actually taste like real food. Dinner was just as impressive. We tried both of the hotel’s restaurants and loved them both, but I have to give a special mention to the chocolate dessert at Restaurant Gastronòmic 1497—easily Michelin level. There were a couple of small things that could be improved, but they honestly didn’t take away from our overall experience.

Outstanding, attentive service… beautiful property with easy access to hikes. Only issue was the AC didn’t seem to work, but thankfully it was cool at night. I also think insect screens on the windows would be good. Very good price. Overall, enjoyed our stay.

This hotel had everything we where hoping for in a quick getaway from town (Barcelona): nice rooms, great stuff, amazing spa and lots of nature. I can understand what other peoptare talking about in the reviews when it comes to hotel food: breakfast is not reach but frankly it had everything we needed abd i appreciate the ecological idea behind it. Lunch and dinner are not the place best quality, we suggest other local great restaurants like el trube. Second, pool and restaurant area where full of some insect that should ecologically be treated to stay out of the pool water and restaurant area. Last thing: shadow above some of the pool is a must on only above thr chairs as summer is here and its super hot. The complementary chocolate was amazing and also the story behind it
