Masakali Retreat

What an amazing place which deserved a six stars ! If you plan to come to Bali & Ubud definitely you need to select Masakali Houses If this was possible to put 6 stars we would have been doing it ! The houses are very beautiful, made with wood coming from Java and very well equipped with what you need. The decoration is also remarkable in the pure Bali spirit The bathrooms are huge and opened to the outside. Amazing experience to take a bath or a showers in the Bali jungle 😉 The sofa and dining table are in the outside area which is opened to the super view to the forest and the jungle. You can see birds, squirrels, listen the frogs. Doing some morning relaxation and yoga exercises was also a tremendous experience. The pool is also in the same spirit with the rest of the place ! Finally, cherry on the cake, Ira,all the staff and the cat are super nice, always want to help and support, propose the best local restaurant and laundry adresses, or cleaning the house very well As a conclusion we definitely recommended this house for your stay in Bali !

This is honestly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The villa is stunning, spotlessly clean, and located just outside Ubud, which makes it incredibly peaceful. What truly makes it special is the team — they treat you like family, not just guests. The service is exceptional: amazing breakfast includes plus laundry and delicious meals on request, and even reliable transport at the same price you’d find elsewhere — highly recommended. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Thank you for everything!

So far the best airbnb experience we ever had. First they offer a lot of services such as pick up from airport and bike rental brought to your door, fresh laundry service etc. They are all reasonably priced and their staff is just amazing. Kantu took us from airport in the evening, helped us to arrange a great local food on our way to home. Ira and all other staff did daily services such as housekeeping and bringing our choice of complimentary breakfast at the exact time we wanted. The private villa has a great pool, a rest net, a 15litre of clean drinking water, a mosquito repellent sprey, incense sticks, yoga mats, sunbed for two, beach and bath towels, mini bar etc. Anything you may need is available. The view is amazing, fireflies make your night magical. From Masakali you can just walk into a lovely village where local people are quite friendly. Thanks you for this great experience, we will come to Ubud again.
