Masia d'Amer

Hemos ido 5 familias en el puente de diciembre 2019. Espectacular. Unas vistas preciosas. Todo muy limpio y preparado. Una decoración rustica exquisita. Al mas mínimo detalle. Lluis y familia disponibilidad total para lo que pudiéramos necesitar en esos días. Una experiencia totalmente recomendable para grupos en plena naturaleza. Varios salones, comedor amplio, billar que hacia delicias de los niños.. y no tan niños . musica..etc . Y para el verano una espectacular piscina con zona de barbacoa... increíble.*****5 estrellas total*****

We had a great weekend with a group of friends. The stay is like in the photos, large and comfortable house. We must highlight the swimming pool, which is beautiful, the barbecue area and chill out area with splendid views that make you enjoy the tranquility of the landscape in harmony with nature. You can take some routes on foot just leaving the farmhouse. In general, very happy with everything and Luis, a host who did everything possible to facilitate our stay and was always attentive to what we asked of him.

La Masia de Amer is very charming, but our visit was a bit uncomfortable due to the heat. The air conditioning didn't work, and the dining area was like an oven in the morning. Additionally, the upper rooms were incredibly hot, as the heat passed through the ceiling. The owners were very helpful in trying to solve the problems we encountered, but they still couldn't solve the heat problem. Some rooms reached 30°C. Before our arrival, we asked for one of the rooms to be thoroughly cleaned because one of the guests was allergic to dust, and they accommodated our needs perfectly. During our stay, there were many wasps, and one stung our 7-year-old daughter and another stung a friend. The pool has a bench around it so you can sit and chat in the water while admiring the scenery. It can be fenced off to prevent accidents with children and pets. The first day it was a bit dirty with insects and leaves, but we asked the owners to change the cleaning schedule so it would work during daylight hours, and from then on it's been much better. The porch is very well located; it has its own bar with two refrigerators, a dishwasher, dishes, glasses, etc. The barbecue is inside the porch, which was a problem due to the heat. The porch needs some kind of air circulation system, perhaps a ceiling fan. Also, the barbecue chimney didn't fully absorb the smoke, so some of it was blowing onto the porch. Inside, there's a large dining room with its own bar; next to it, there's a living room with a pool table and sofas, and another room with sofas for sitting in front of a fireplace. Another highlight is that there's a large parking space inside the property. We parked five cars, and there was still room for more. At night, you can see some stars, although the garden lights are a bit of a hindrance. If it weren't for the heat we endured, it would have deserved 5 stars. We'll definitely be back.
