Maso nel bosco

Serenas cabin is everything you expect from the pictures, but a great experience became exceptional with the people. First night Serena set me up with a reservation at some Italian restaurant and food delivery for breakfast the next day, but; Disaster struck. It snowed like crazy and I was going to miss the reservation - No big deal, but starving past breakfast next mornig got me worried. I grabbed Serenas hiking sticks and ventured deep into the forrest to get distracted. Coming back at 9pm, a pair of headlights flickered through disant trees and disappeared. Pitch black. Silence. Then. Far away I heard huffing and puffing from Serenas friend, muscling a heavy breakfast basket uphill, through the snow and into my hands. I could not believe it. Italian devotion you cannot get anywhere. Thanks to Serena, I was also able to rebook that Italian restaurant too. Turns out it would have been a big "Michelin star" deal to miss. You want Italy. You want authenticity. Don't look further.

The most amazing rustic experience we ever had. The maso was splendidly organised, the host Serena was very helpful in everything, from tips of locations to visit up to where to eat during our stay. Definitely a must location when visiting italy.
