The staff is outstanding and the food was absolutely perfect for every meal. We had bad weather but the staff and owner of the resort went out of their way to apologize for something that they had zero control over. Excellent towns in the area for a day trip. I Would highly recommend Masseria Calderisi.
This masseria exceeded all expectations. The service, the room and the food was the most exceptional 3 days of our 2 weeks in Puglia. Very good location, not far off the beaten path (as some masserias can be). We barley left the grounds during our stay, and when we ventured out we couldn't wait to get back. We ate dinner here every night and all meals were exceptional, making it a very memorable 25th. Would stay here again!
Extremely disappointing experience. I made a reservation but was never informed that my booking was at risk because I had not shared my credit card details. I was on the phone but did not understand the urgency of providing this information, and I never received any clear communication from the restaurant that my reservation would be in jeopardy. Due to the lack of follow-up and proper explanation, my table was given away to someone else. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend others look elsewhere if you expect clear communication and professionalism. A frustrating and avoidable experience!!!!!
