Nothing was too much trouble at the wonderful family run hotel. Feels more like a 5 star. The friendliness and welcome was amazing and that's coming from the land of 1000 welcomes. The dining experience, with most of the food coming from the farm, was sublime. There is a delightful ambience and you feel more like a houseguest than a tourist. Marie Therese, Roxanna and family, take a bow, you have something special here. The mix of effortless service and antiquity and fabulous facilities is excellent. The room where we stayed, Steno, named after a horse, will always be in my memories. All the furniture is antique, the feel of the stone floors on your feet and the great vaulted stone cut ceilings and windows so high I don't know who will clean that glass. The quality of the fittings is just excellent. Really can't wait to go back again. Bravo all, keep up the great work.
Let's begin with the location. This is one of the most relaxing experiences you can get here in Puglia. Yes, it may not be close to the town, but that's what makes it quiet. Then, there are the rooms. They are very spacious and they look retro, like the barns they once were. The food is amazing, especially the eggplant lasagna and burrata dishes. The staff is really friendly and polite and they keep the rooms very clean. The pool is also great, very fun for children in the shallow section and adventurous in the deep section. Finally, their wines are very good and the breakfast has a huge variety of delicious dishes.
We stayed at Masseria Incantalupi for three nights and loved our stay. The food each night was ridiculously good, especially the antipasti selection which varied daily. The food was so good that we decided to eat there each night. On top of that the breakfast selection was amazing and it was lovely to eat outside each morning in the courtyard. Would highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere quiet, relaxed, and with authentic, simple local cuisine. Oh and the staff were super friendly. The hotel is in a a great location, lovely old farmhouse with beautiful rooms and pool area.
