Masseria la Baronessa Resort

Stayed in June with a large family - as expected on the pictures and description! Great large hotel garden with farm (bourses, cows, fruit garden, Olive Garden), nice pool with palms abs sun beds in the shadow. Calm! No music in the pool which is GREAT! We really enjoyed calm stay in the estate of 17th century! Apartment is in fact a sletate house in a form of white Apulia cheese - nice design ; anti moscito nets, air condition - perfect! What can be better? Breakfast - buffet, but guests eat it very fast, so you won’t get your egg with bacon already at 8.30 (it opens at 7.45). No vegetables - maybe to add at least tomato’s typical for Solento? And self-service for coffee/tea will be better since guests don’t need to ask for another cofee or tea (they are in a very small cups). Otherwise, people are very friendly. Good value for memet, will come again ; thank you!

It's second time for my family to stay in this Resort and that explains a lot. Not just the apartment but the whole place is huge. The swimming pool is quite big and well managed. Indeed, i saw salvataggio guy keeps cleaning the pool and the sunbed all day whenever he can. He managed whole place very diligently. I also loved to stay in the swimming pool bar with some cocktail. Staff at the bar and the restaurant were very friendly and kind. Every evening, we could take a walk in the resort looking at the horses and cows. Since it's long way to walk, it's good to bring kid's monopattino(scooter). It would help kids to move to the restaurant from the apartment for the breakfast. Talking about breakfast, quality is quite good. You don't see the hot meal such as eggs and bacon on the table but you can order as you like. Overall, my family especially my kids were very happy to stay here and we will definitely come back here again.

An oasis of tranquility close to beautiful beaches. Spacious apartment for family of 5 with everything we needed; clean, large swimming pool, delicious breakfast and dinner and exceptional, helpful and friendly staff. We highly recommend this property.
