Masseria Mammella

We (a family with 4 kids) stayed at Masseria Mammella for 2 weeks in August 2023. It was a wonderful holiday, very peaceful, quiet and secluded on the one hand, but very close to several lively towns and the sea on the other. The location is only 5 minutes from the sea. The house is set in the middle of an ancient olive tree plantation. The farm is not just a house, but a real museum and houses a recently recovered and lovingly restored by the owner an ancient olive oil production facility (full tour offered for free by the owner). The host family offered us sumptuous breakfast daily, which could easily last throughout the day. Once we asked to prepare us a traditional dinner and it was a wonderful feast! Rooms are very cozy and clean and since we occupied both rooms there were no other guests at the house. We would totally recommend the place for a great relaxing family holiday with an immersion in ancient Italian history of olive oil making!

We were a family of 9 persons. We had the Masseria for ourselves. Everything was amazing; the service, the cleanliness, the rooms, the location and not to mention the beautiful Masseria with the wide green olive trees and lemon trees around it. The experience was new and different to us. We enjoyed the calmness, relaxation, and privacy. Everyone taking care of the Masseria were also extremely nice and welcoming; Gaia, Maria, Maria’s mom, brother, father and not to forget her grandmother ❤️ beautiful family and a beautiful place to consider when visiting Monopoli and when looking for an authentic and traditional experience.

Such a great experience during our trip. We visited the masseria with friends and we recommend it a 100% The visit was very interesting and the tasting was the perfect ending to this great day. Great hospitality from the owners and the olive oil is of course delicious ! If you are in the area don’t hesitate
