Our stay at the masseria with my two kids was unforgettable. The location and design, both inside and out, felt like stepping back in time—peaceful, quiet, and full of charm. Every detail was perfect, with everything newly renovated yet maintaining the authentic look of an Italian farm. The swimming pool and surrounding grounds, with beautiful olive trees, were outstanding. A special thank you to the amazing staff, especially Ada, and to Simona for the incredible cooking class. They were so friendly and helpful, making our stay even more special. I was in tears when it was time to leave. If you’re looking to relax your mind and soul, this is the perfect place.
This is a very nice Masseria with few rooms in the middle of olive groves and abseits any noise. It features a wonderful garden area and pool. Breakfast is good with different selections of sweet and savory items. One lady at the reception in particular was very welcoming and attended to all our needs. We were allowed to swap rooms upon arrival and stay longer on our departure day since our flight left late at night. Reception was very helpful in finding local restaurants and beach clubs. There are very few and small points that could be improved: - rooms could be a bit brighter but that’s due to the construction of the building - owners could engage more with clients and let them know more about the Masseria and its products - breakfast could feature fewer sweet items but I reckon this is common in Italy - the mattresses of the bed could be harder but that’s my personal preference - every day there was a burned smell in the air from the surrounding agricultural activities (I suppose there is nothing they can do about it) Overall we had a lovely stay!
We liked the property, the garden was very well kept, and it had beautiful olive trees. The pool and the courtyard were very nice. Also, there was a bar near the pool and we had drinks and coffee there. We didn't like the rooms and breakfast. The room had basic furniture and the bed creaked. The air conditioning could not handle the big room we stayed in, and it was hot, even if we kept it going permanently. At some point, even if the "Do not disturb" sign was on the handle of the door, the cleaning person entered and shut down the air conditioning (there were 38 degrees outside). The quality of the ingredients of the food offered at breakfast was very poor.
