If you're looking for somewhere peaceful to spend a few days and explore Ragusa and the surrounding areas this is the place to go! It is located in the countryside (you need a car to get around) and from here you can easily reach places of interest such as the Donnafugata castle, Marina di Ragusa, Modica, Scicli as well as some nature reserves. Davide was an excellent and welcoming host and gave some great recommendations on what to see in the area. I greatly appreciated the welcoming cold tea drink and warm facecloth on a particularly hot day. I stayed in the standard studio which had air con, a comfortable double bed, a bathroom with shower and a small kitchen with the all the necessary utensils needed to prepare some dinner. Outside the room there was a small table and chairs which were great for enjoying the cooler evening air. The whole property, from the room to the pool and the communal areas, is well looked after and clean. I would highly recommend Mastro Vanni and hope to go back again!
Lovely peaceful place where one can definitely enjoy a relaxing holiday. Close to Ragusa and other cities like Modica and Scicli, yet close to nature and not in the busy centre of the city. Great facilities - parking onsite, well sized pool to enjoy a relaxing swim, well-sized rooms with a kitchen and terrace and a plus was that we could take our cats with us. We opted for the breakfast. which was delicious and worth it for just €10 a day. Davide is an amazing host who was always ready to help. Definitely 100% recommended and would love to return soon!
Our stay at Mastro Vanni was amazing, from the beginning until the very end. I would recommend anyone to book this location, if you are planning to go to Sicily. The hosts are friendly, welcoming and happy to help any time. The breakfast is delicious and fresh! Our appartment was clean and complete. Even during our stay, the hosts made sure that the appartment stayed clean too. Mastro Vanni is located near Ragusa. From this location you can easily discover the rest of east and south Sicily.
