PERFECTION! The private spa is a must! The customer service here is so resfreshing, a special thank you to Mateo who literally is the nicest hotel staff we have ever had. Really went above and beyond to make use feel welcome. All the staff are great!!! Not a single flaw in this hotel. View from the pool is insane!
My husband and I recently stayed at this charming hotel and winery in Tuscany, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression—they truly embody the essence of Italian charm! The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed, offering the perfect balance of comfort and elegance. Whether it was a well-made bed, pristine amenities, or just the overall atmosphere, everything contributed to a relaxing stay. The only minor downside is the hotel’s secluded location. While the peaceful surroundings are ideal for those seeking a quiet escape, it does mean that transportation is necessary for exploring nearby attractions. A car service can be arranged by the hotel and while it is convenient: it can be pricey, so it's something to keep in mind when planning your stay. Overall, if you're looking for a tranquil retreat with top-tier service and wonderful accommodations, Mastrojanni Relais is a fantastic choice. Just be prepared to arrange transportation for any excursions beyond its serene oasis!
Stunning opportunity but work to be done. The location is superb and the surroundings are beautiful. They have nestled a hotel and winery together which makes for the perfect getaway. The winery tour is a must do. However, it was let down by service and facilities. We had no hot water for three days in the shower which was a hotel wide issue as our friends suffered the same challenge and we heard others at breakfast mention the same thing. Communication from the hotel could have helped smooth over the issue. We only received a breakfast menu on the third and last day of our stay. Before that we assumed there was only a buffet. Service was generally slow or inexperienced. You’d often have to ask for coffee multiple times and there was no bar service at the pool. On the first night in the restaurant we felt pressured into tipping by the server. We had a beautiful stay and the winery tour was a highlight but in a high end establishment charging a premium, the little things matter.
