Matild Country Hotel

I would give 6 stars if I could! It was even more beautiful in real life than on their website. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the hotel grounds and stables were gorgeous, and the staff were very kind and accommodating. Our mixed group of one experienced rider (myself), two beginner riders, and one non-rider all had a wonderful time. I enjoyed 2 cross country rides with long trots and canters through forests and vineyards, while my friends enjoyed riding lessons and simply relaxing in the gardens. We did not want to leave. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish, highly recommend!!

They have very good price, friendly staff, friendly horses, friendly cats, jacuzzi, sauna, small pool. There is possibility to ride indoor and outside or even go for a longer ride. There are many wine makers around where you can taste local products. I've visited many places around Balaton, but this is best for horse friends. Super super quality food.

Very nice place, very friendly staff. On top of horseback riding (indoor or outdoor) they have a small restaurant, playground, ball court, swimming pool and jacuzzi. The area is the most beautiful part of Hungary, ideal for walks or morning runs - exceptional views guaranteed!
