We had our wedding at the Matrix Hotel and can't say more great things about our experience. Kate, the Catering manager, was amazing to deal with. The servers, especially Verlyn and Roy, were phenomenal, and Andrea was a great bartender. The food was great. We had many guests state it was the best wedding food they have ever had. If you are looking for a great wedding venue, I highly recommend the Matrix!

Stayed at the Matrix this weekend for a concert. I had accidentally booked the wrong room and they switched us to a nicer deluxe king bed with no extra charge. Front desk people were very kind and fast and our stay there was amazing. Also pro! it’s so close to everything ! All the bars and clubs we went to were like 10 minutes from the hotel. Would def stay there again

I recently stayed the Matrix while in town for a conference at MacEwan University. The hotel was clean and spacious, and the central location made it great for both business and leisure. I would certainly come back. The restaurant and its staff were lovely. The breakfast buffet was nice, albeit a little pricey unless you really take advantage of the all you can eat. We enjoyed the happy hour and watched the hockey game over dinner one evening. The rooms were nice. Generally clean and spacious. I had a few issues with housekeeping during my stay. For example, it was hit and miss whether they would provide a bathmat, and my colleagues and I found that the various amenities varied between our rooms quite a bit (some had tea and some didn’t, some had an umbrella and some didn’t, some had two robes and others didn’t). The towels are also a little threadbare. Towards the end of the stay they also emptied a garbage can in the room but left the trash bag on the bathroom counter.
