Mauna Lani Auberge Collection

This is one of the best resorts I have ever visited. The hotel has a beautiful open atrium and is located next to the ocean in a cove next to historic fish ponds. The resort itself has a nice sandy beach and three pools, tennis courts, pickleball courts, golf course and driving range, fitness area and spa. The rooms are very nice, though our bathroom fixtures felt a little dated with some permanent water stains; otherwise the rooms would have received 5 stars. The staff at the hotel was fantastic! They were incredibly friendly, efficient and welcoming. Most of the staff we met were native to the big island and they were proud of their state and island and shared their knowledge of the local terrain and culture. Can't wait to return.

I like it a lot... a lot of things available, some paid, some complimentary... hard to understand all the offers as it was a lot of things. Nice swimming pools, hot tubs, beach, snorkeling equipment, sunsets, drinks, market... bedroom was very comfy and beautiful. Check the policies of your reservation, we were charged for the parking, but it was already included in our reservation. Luckily I saw it an was able to get it fixed at the checkout. Great place to relax and do not worry about going anywhere else.

I’m not impressed by this resort at all. Check in time is at 3PM, however, our rooms were not ready by 3PM. Rooms are beautiful and spacious tho. One of the days during our stay there was some filming happening in the lobby area and the staff kept chasing us out of the main entrance, we were not trying to interfere with the filming we just wanted to get some information from the concierge/front desk team. The hotel has great facilities such as pool, restaurants and private beach but needs to upgrade their customer service approach in my opinion.
