Maunoury Citybreak

We stayed at this delightful B&B in Chartres for one night and recommend it thoroughly. The mansion is a short walk from the central pedestrianised area of the city with the Cathedral, shops and restaurants. The rooms are on the top floor, easily individually accessed, and breakfast is in the host’s apartment or on their capacious balcony overlooking a tranquil garden. Lovely decor throughout, home made yogurt and jams, fresh bakery and more for breakfast. Wi-fi excellent. Friendly hosts.

I had a very good experience! The apartments are very cozy and welcoming. The host is amazing, she is always there to support. This is the best place to stay in Chartres!

Hello, we stayed there in the last week of January. It is a very central location and an old, well-maintained suite. There are very clean sheets and towels. We stayed with my children as a family. There is a small kitchen. The kitchen has enough items. There were not enough pots and pans for cooking. We made soup and pasta with difficulty with the existing pots. Another feature that could be improved was that there were no special foods such as eggs and cheese for breakfast. But we had our breakfast in a very meticulously prepared environment to dry. There could have been a small washing machine. Because it would be beneficial considering the possibility of getting dirty in cold and rainy weather.
