I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and to escalate my complaint regarding my recent, utterly disastrous experience with StayInn City Aldgate Apartments. My booking, intended for a birthday celebration, turned into a complete nightmare due to hidden terms and blatant misrepresentation. Upon arrival, I was denied access to the property. I was informed of undisclosed restrictions: a 25-year-old age requirement and a £500 security deposit. These crucial details were not clearly presented during the booking process, leaving me completely blindsided and stranded on my birthday. The situation was compounded by the conflicting information I received from customer service. Initially, I was assured a refund "would not be a problem," only to have that promise subsequently retracted. This blatant dishonesty and complete lack of transparency are unacceptable. To be left stranded on my birthday, after being assured I would recieve my initial payment back, is simply appalling. This experience has not only wasted my valuable time and money but also ruined a significant personal occasion. I am incredibly frustrated by the lack of integrity displayed by StayInn City Aldgate. I will not rest until I receive a full refund for this booking. This is a matter of principle, and I cannot and will not let this egregious mistreatment go unaddressed. I implore anyone considering booking with StayInn City Aldgate: DO NOT BOOK. You will likely encounter hidden terms, dishonest customer service, and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
Fraud alert. Never give them your card details and photo id once you will leave the apartment they will deduct money from your card without your consent. I gave them my card details which they told me this is for security reason after checking out they started deducting money from my account. They deducted money thrice after that I blocked my card. When I blocked my card they tried to take the money again. I was never expecting this type of scam.
The only thing good about it, is the interior of the rooms are nice and they’re kept clean, so well done to your cleaners. The company is run by money hungry scavengers. Doesn’t offer free cancellation, will find any excuse to take your deposit, (who pays deposit via bank transfer), there’s no on site reception they want you to check in while standing on the street and responding to calls and emails, can you imagine Hilton doing this? It boast a city view, I can get more of a view on a bus. It’s not even moderately priced, please do not waste your money on this apartment, I can’t even believe booking.com have these people on their website. Just sell the building and go and get a 9-5, your whole team is rude and useless. The purpose of the reputable business is to give a customer a service they can’t get elsewhere, your only purpose is to make money, you don’t care about customer care. If you care about money that much just beg on the street. Whats the point of having a business with so many bad reviews
