Maxi Park Hotel & Spa

The hotel presents itself as a large and relatively new establishment, nestled in a greener part of the city. While it could benefit from some minor "TLC," there are no significant issues to report. The hotel boasts a very nice mineral pool and a spacious, well-maintained spa area, which are undoubtedly major draws. The breakfast is varied and delicious, offering a great start to the day. The ample and convenient parking facilities are also a plus for guests. However, the rising prices have become a considerable minus not only for this specific hotel, but for Velingrad hotels in general. Not long ago Velingrad was one of the cheapest thermal water SPA resorts in EU. Today the rates increased to a point where they are comparable to, or even higher than, SPA hotels in locations like San Pellegrino, Italy for example. This significant price hike leads me to question the value proposition, especially when considering alternative destinations.

Maxi Spa Velingrad is pure perfection! Stunning location, luxurious spa, impeccable service, and delicious food. Every moment felt like a dream. Highly recommend for total relaxation and unforgettable memories!

The location is great! At the top of a hill overlooking the city. The spa is great - lots of variety and don't forget to visit the relaxation lounge ... its wow. There are several pools with different water temps and all are quite nice. The food was good 4/5 start. The service is good but our balcony had pigeon shit all over it when we arrived and it was not recent ... so 4/5 stars. The rooms are great in my view. The felling in the hotel is very nice and cozy. There are several mountain paths and peaks you can visit and the walks are quite enjoyable and to difficult. There is a place where children and adults can play :) Overall great but for the price you can find better.
