Maximus Resort

Best spa resort in Brno, not allowing children is a big plus, i don't understand angry parents in reviews. If you want to take your children somewhere, then go to a aqua park or something, spa should be for relaxation and not kids running around and being noisy for others.

The hotel is beautiful and the location outside Brno is quiet. The rooms are bright and modern and it is quiet at night, even with the window open. The wellness area is accessible from the inside, you can walk there from your room in your bathrobe. The indoor part of the wellness complex is not that big, outside there are more saunas and a lake to cool off. We were there on Friday afternoon/evening and it was very busy. We will definitely come back but I think during the week. The restaurant at the hotel was a bit disappointing, I wanted to order steak (it was on the menu) but it was not available. The grilled octopus I ordered was not really crispy, and actually a bit tough. The taste of the dish was good. The local wine (neronet) was fantastic. The service was also very good. We will definitely come back here, but maybe we will eat somewhere else. The breakfast was very good.

Awful service . Can’t reach the front desk . I discussed it with the front desk that I have a an expensive gold chain coming to hotel apparently it came to the post office. It needs to be picked up. I tried to text. I tried to email. I tried to call the number which is listed on the website all day I’ve been trying to call nobody response even with a text not let alone phone call, the golden chain worth €7000 is waiting to be picked up and zero service. I just left I was at Maximus for the fifth time.
