This place is highly recommended if you are looking for a place to stay that is affordable and reasonable on your pocket. Very accommodating and kind personnel ready to help and assist you. Cozy room with wifi and nice amenities. The Venice Grand Canal Mall is just adjacent to the building i will go back and stay again @ Max Stays "The Venice Luxury Residences".

I just had a great weekend with my boyfriend when we check in the hotel. It was very nice room and elegant. I went first in bec my boyfriend was late to come from korea. I was sitting and waiting to the lobby when someone came to me and assist me. She was very nice to chat, even showing the room and explain anything what I ask. Her name was ms. ReselJay.She's very kind. Any way the room was very good the view was nice the and very clean and very new. My boyfriend said he will recommended this hotel to his friends. Hope to be there next time. 😆😉👍👌

High number of foreign workers from China who go in and out of the building. Looks like an Asian expatriate neighborhood, with schools for different Asian nationalities. There is hardly any westerners in this area, compared to other parts of Makati. There are also a few US or international firms nearby. You can find significantly better service at hotels in the city area for about the same price, especially the ones near Glorietta Mall and the surrounding area. The guard at The Venice is a stickler to making guests entering through specific lobby doors he is guarding, and exiting at a different door about 10 feet, even though it is obvious that both sets of doors open both ways. Walking past other condos in the area showed that they were not guarded as zealously as this one, and guests were free to walk in and out using whichever doors they prefer. Check-in service was okay but took too long to be processed. They also scrimped on the bottled water, coffee and a few of the free items. Only 2 coffee capsules were provided per day for a room for 2 guests, and if you only took 1 capsule, they replaced only 1 instead of providing 2 the next day. Netflix was a plus. The room looked nice and cozy. Perfect for a weekend getaway. They also offered to wash and iron our clothes for free, but instructions on how to do that were not forthcoming, despite being asked more than once. The gym was small (only a few treadmills, and less than three other machines). No weights. And since the facilities were not clearly labelled and there was no signage whatsoever, guests must wander and approach different buildings, looking for the facilities. There are limited food choices within the building. Just MaxDelights, which looks empty every time we walked past it. There are more restaurants around the corner (about 5 minutes’ walk) at the Venice Grand Canal Mall, but you would need to know your way to find them. The mall itself has a variety of food, but the Indian food near the restaurant was bad. The cinema proved a welcome distraction.
