We visited Mayfair Waves in July 2025. Every time we visit Puri, we stay at Mayfair (Heritage or Waves), and they never fail to impress us. This is now continuing for several years that we try to visit Puri at least once a year, and we do not think of staying at any other place. We feel so much of comfort at Mayfair that we cannot express in words. We reach there, park our car at their parking, where it safely rests for next 2-3 days, and we just enjoy the stay and our local trips here and there. It is not really just a matter of a nice comfortable room, or a great campus or delicious buffet meals – it is everything, and above all, their people. I always believe that people of a hotel is the main strength that can make the stay of a guest memorable – and Mayfair Puri never disappoints us. Hope to see them all in the next year and I wish them all the best.

Having stayed at many other properties, I felt this is way overpriced for the things you are getting. The location is a plus point & the private beach is the best part. Apart from that there is no other wow factor. The rooms could be even cleaner. There was sand on my sofa. We asked for a baby cot & it took a lot of time. I got a bit fever so asked if they have any paracetamol & that also took some time. The ala carte is good. Unfortunately I had taken a package deal which included dinner as well as it was a staycation n i didn’t want to step out. The dinner buffet was pathetic, all cold & not good to taste even though the menu was exhaustive. The mutton n fish were good though. Breakfast was ok, as any other 5 star restaurant in this price range. I liked that they had Odia food in their buffet- Dahibara aloodum, ghanta tarkari, bhaja, enduri pitha etc. The staff is very courteous & greets you warmly Plz don’t stay in room 1101. It doesn’t have a view & there’s a balcony sort of thing of the hotel where cleaners clean for hours and hours and we literally couldn’t even open the curtains of our room

If you'd like to take your family to chill and relax without worrying about safety, please do consider this place. Definitely a luxury hotel, the views are amazing (provided you select the right room, ask for assistance for better understanding). The staff is very hospitable, very attentive to details, they provide guided visit to the Jagannath Temple (chargeable accordingly), and do also help in planning your itinerary for sightseeing (chargeable accordingly). Special callout to Mr. Pramod who helped with our room, we had a bit of hiccup with our booked room in terms of location but he promptly resolved it and provided us with a much better room which was spacious and comfortable to say the least. The view from the balcony was amazing and great service overall. They have a nice spread for breakfast and dinner at Waves catering to both the hotels with dishes from varying cuisines. Ashok and his team from their restuarant are very kind and make sure that we have a great meal. We also tried the Odia Thali at the 2 States Restaurant for the first time - absolutely worth it! Allahamuddin and his team were kind enough to explain us all the elements and recommended options best suited. Overall the options are a bit limited but taste amazing! Do plan to visit atleast once!
