The owners of the Maynestay hotel were very friendly, welcoming and easy going. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. While the reason we were in Gunnedah was not great (a funeral), staying at the Maynestay allowed us to return to each afternoon/night to relax and unwind in a clean, comfortable and quiet environment.
Very nice rooms and a welcoming host. Very convenient location, close to a club where they served some excellent meals. Rooms are clean, tidy, spacious, with comfortable chairs and good lighting. Nice quiet air-conditioning. Free Netflix if you don't like what's on TV. Quiet motel even though it on the main street through the town. A little on the down side, this motel has stairs to the upper level and our room had fairly poor shower pressure.
Rooms were spacious with a comfortable bed. Styling was a little on the older side but this is in line with most of the accomodation in the area. Tv had all the streaming services which was a plus, as I could easily continue where I left off from home. Overall, good to stay for a couple nights if your around the area for work
