The staff were genuinely kind and helpful — especially the lady at reception who was welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The room was small but had everything we needed and was cleaned properly every day. The breakfast was decent, though it started to run out quickly after 9 a.m., so it’s better to go early. The hotel is also conveniently located near public transport, which made getting around the city very easy. Unfortunately, there were several things that affected our comfort. The first room faced the street and was very noisy due to poor sound insulation. We could hear everything from the neighboring rooms — conversations, doors, even showers. After switching to a quieter room, we had to deal with a strong smell of cigarette smoke, which was hard to ignore. There was also a noticeable smoke odor in the elevator and even in the hammam. Overall, while the service was great, the hotel really needs to improve soundproofing and ventilation.
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, things felt off. The location is far from central areas and surrounded by neglected, uninviting surroundings that do not feel safe or comfortable. This immediately set a negative tone for the entire stay. The condition of the room was very disappointing. Several pieces of furniture were broken or completely unusable, which made the room feel both uncomfortable and poorly maintained. The air conditioning units were extremely old and barely functional. In the middle of summer, not being able to cool the room properly became a major issue. What stood out the most in a negative way was the attitude of the management — both the manager and their assistant. Instead of being welcoming or helpful, they acted as if we were a burden. Their tone was aggressive and unprofessional, which made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable throughout the stay. Hospitality should start with respectful and courteous communication, which was clearly lacking here. Overall, the service quality, room conditions, communication, and location were all far below acceptable standards. I would strongly advise other travelers to consider alternative accommodations. There are certainly better hotels available in a similar price range that offer a more pleasant and professional experience.
The worst hotel in my whole life. I’VE NEVER BEEN IN SUCH HOTEL.you can hear everything happening in street and the neighbors even if they are in toilet. The location is very far away of anything. The good point the transportation system is good in Istanbul. I dont wish this hotel even to my enemies
