ME Dubai by Meliá

My 6 nights experience in this hotel were fabulous. The staff are very friendly, accommodative & helpful. The lobby down is of great ambience with its music, decoration & refreshing diffusers. These things become challenging in the hot summer but this place managed to overcome them with flying colors! The gorgeous architecture with its beautiful little additions gives a warm & relaxing feeling. The location is within 20mins to many shopping malls & restaurants. Their breakfast menu is one of a kind. I would, for sure stay there in my next visits. Special thanks to Chef Biki for the wonderful food menu & JoJo for her dining-in services every morning ; )

From the moment we arrived at ME Dubai, we felt truly welcomed. The hotel is stunning, spotlessly clean, and the team made our stay incredibly special. A heartfelt thank you to Claudia from GEX, who warmly welcomed us and personally showed us to our room. She was always kind and attentive, making us feel truly cared for. At breakfast, we were greeted daily by the lovely Seill, Abdul, Kevin, and Joanne. Always smiling and helpful, they made each morning a pleasure. The breakfast was fresh, varied, and delicious. We also had the chance to meet Jose and Elsa, the hotel directors, who were approachable and genuinely kind. It’s clear that they lead with heart, and it shows in the whole team. At reception, Alexey, Ismail, Fatma, and Sofian were always professional and friendly. Every interaction was smooth and pleasant, which we really appreciated. The hotel was spotless throughout – from the rooms to the common areas, everything was pristine and well-kept. Thank you to the whole ME Dubai team for making our stay so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

I booked the hotel online, and the website stated that payment would be taken upon arrival. However, the amount was charged to my card a day before I arrived, which is unacceptable. When I arrived at 1:30 PM, the staff told me that the room was not ready and would only be available at 3 PM — a very unprofessional and strange situation. Later that evening, I returned and entered the room, only to find a very unpleasant smell. There was also a yellow stain on the bed, which was disgusting. The next day, I spoke with the front desk manager, who was of Arab nationality, but unfortunately, I got no help from him and the issue was not resolved. Honestly, this is the first and last time I will ever stay at this hotel, and I would not recommend it to anyone.
