Medellin Marriott Hotel

Excellent Hotel, we really had a good time. Went there with my family while on a holiday in Colombia. . Stayed for two nights. Kids had a really good time.. all the staff are very kind and very helpful. Maria Antonia The concierge helped me make arrangements for my daughter’s 13th birthday.. special thanks to her.

Three rooms are reserved for our family. At 17:45, my room is still not ready. The rooms are on different floors. The minibar is empty. Two small bottles of water. The food in the restaurants is delicious, the service is good. The room service is also good. The view from the room (916) is wonderful.

We were placed in room 417. The bathroom was awful- no fan working , toilet didn’t flush properly , sink was clogged, and water in shower was lukewarm at best. Imagine our surprise when we found a review of this same exact room from four months ago with the same exact problems! We needed an accessible room , and when we checked in this was the only room available . When we mentioned these issues to the front desk and how we should not have had to pay this much for a dysfunctional room , the man was very rude and said he could’ve gotten a mechanic to fix the room (like that would’ve worked to fix all the issues in the four days were were staying there? I think not). Overall this is not a 5 star hotel, it is 3 at best . Look elsewhere as they charge 5 star prices and it is not worth it .
