Lovely place, very cozy. Good zone for people looking for clubs and restaurants along the promenade Pro: - professional welcome - the hotel is made up of small mini hotels along a beautiful garden (small problem: no elevators) - you get beach towels (requiring a deposit but not a problem) - there's a mini market exactly nearby, on the beach - offers free waterbeds for use in the pool or the sea. Also a free ping pong table nearby the pool - has a mini pool for kids Cons: - public beach, as in a lot of human traffic. The sand is bad, with stones. Algae in the sea - sea sunbeds cost 20 euros. The fee ones are only at their pool - limited food availability, mostly same every day - no replenish on the room complimentary water

Stayed for 2 nights, the entrance and location are beautiful, so was their service. The employees were very kind. However, our room (Superior room) was very outdated with multiple issues, such as broken light switch, low water pressure on the shower, old tv without usb or smart function, few sockets. We expected a five-star hotel to offer a fresher and newer room. Also, the spa area costs an additional 15€ to enter for two hours, during our stay, the indoor swimming pool was out of service, which we very much wanted to experience. The outdoor swimming pool was only open 'till 6pm, so unlike the website shows, no swimming in the pool at night with beautiful lights... Fortunately we were able to spend most time outside on the beach, we had a great time!

Not a real 5-star experience – disappointing basics. In other words, a scam calling itself 5 stars when it doesn't deserve more than 3 stars. We stayed at Mediterranean Beach Resort in Zakynthos expecting a true 5-star experience. Unfortunately, it fell short on several key aspects. On the positive side: – The staff were friendly and helpful. – The cleaning team did an excellent job. – The garden area near the pool was lovely. Negative aspects: On arrival, we found only two 0.5L water bottles in the minibar – no refills during the stay. All drinks, including water, were charged at the bar and were more expensive than in local tavernas. The tap and shower water was as salty as the sea water and smelled strongly of sulphur (like rotten eggs), making it hard to even brush your teeth or shower comfortably. The in-room safe was outdated and required a physical key – and they charged extra to use it. The hotel also charged €20 per day for sunbeds on the beach, even for guests. The food was hit or miss. Some dishes were genuinely tasty – we enjoyed the pork with orange, the rabbit, the salads, and the desserts. However, anything with red sauce had a strange, overpowering taste, like canned sardines in tomato sauce, regardless of the dish. Plus, the food was always the same. My opinion: Is this a 5-star hotel? Not by EU standards. At best, the rooms near the pool might pass for 3 stars. But the lack of basic services (like included water or a modern safe), charging for sunbeds, and the overall quality of amenities are far below what we've experienced in other 5-star hotels across Europe, Africa, or Asia. For the same money, you could book a nice apartment elsewhere without food and enjoy local restaurants instead – and probably save some money too. This is a total rip off, stay away!
