We only visited the restaurant, not the hotel. The food was very good, we had two plates of pasta with seafood. The waiters were efficient and the price was worth it. They even offered us a coffee.
We stayed at the Mediterraneo Palace Hotel in May 2023 while visiting Italy from the US. We were warmly welcomed and the staff went out of their way to help us connect with relatives we wanted to meet. Christian was even so kind as to drive us to a neighboring town for a glimpse of family history. We enjoyed wonderful food and wine served by a gracious staff, as well. I highly recommend MPH if your travels take you through Amantea.
We booked a room block here for our 60 of our family members & friends from America (TX, CA, CT, NY, NJ, MA, DC, NC, VA), Sicily, and France for our wedding weekend. The hotel is in the perfect location. A minute walk from a supermarket, 5 minute walk from the heart of the town, and 3 minute walk from the beach. A few minutes by car to the train station and only 30 minutes drive from Lamezia Terme train & SUF airport. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were comfortable with air conditioning. The pool was great to enjoy during our stay and the spa was a beautiful bonus! Highly recommend looking outside from their courtyard at night to see the warmly lit centro storico of Amantea. It was a stunning site. We also quite enjoyed our time at Lido Mediterraneo - they had golf carts to help shuttle our guests to and from the beach! The staff were so incredibly hospitable. From Rosalbino and everyone behind the reception desk, to the bar, the drivers of the golf carts, the waiters and waitresses in the breakfast room, and the cleaning crew on the floors. Every single person working there made it a point to be welcoming to us and our guests and make our stays as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. Coming back to the hotel at night felt as comfortable as coming home. I would recommend Mediterraneo to anyone looking to stay in Amantea, whether for a night or a week. For vacation, work, or a family reunion or even a wedding. This hotel was one of the best decisions we made! We look forward to staying again next year and chatting with all the friends we have made there. Grazie assai per tutto
