We knew about this place, but we didn't know that it's possible to rent it and when we discovered it the decision was made in minutes. Needless to say that we are completely satisfied with our small escape from the big city. And we enjoyed everything: the calmness of the place, the beautiful surroundings, the quietness, the air. The house is extremely comfortable despite its size and we found everything we need to enjoy our family vacation. Oh, I think I need to mention that this place is a kid friendly and our son enjoyed himself a lot playing outside.
Most gorgeous place to stay to experience the beautiful surroundings of Gauja National Park. The walking trails are great and the guest house was perfect.There is a little shop nearby to buy basic food stuff and locally made Cremon fruit wine. Getting into town with a cable car at least once is definitely worth the views of the valley. Great place for serenity and relaxation.
